China Taiping replies to confirm joining the initiative of 9.9 “China Brand Day”. The joint initiative and related activity will be launched on 11th Asia Brands Ceremony, 9th September 2016.

In General Office of the State Council No. 2016-44 Document of Opinions on Playing a Leading Role of Brand and Promoting Supply-Demand Structure Upgrade, the leading status of brand in economic development is clearly emphasized, specific demands of “setting up China Brand Day, strongly promoting famous self-owned brand, telling good story of China Brand, enhancing the influence and recognition of self-owned brand” are put forward.

“Asia Brands” positively responds the instruction of General Office of the State Council, invites 99 excellent national self-owned brands to launch the initiative of setting up the annual 9th September as “China Brand Day”, together with People’s Daily Overseas Edition and Xinhua Net, the other two organizers of 11th Asia Brands Ceremony.

Number Nine is the largest in Chinese traditional culture, in the Book of Changes it sets nine as the largest number of days, the saying ninety-nine goes toward integrate one hundred is extremely profound; with the same pronunciation to forever, nine implies brand enduring and everlasting, thus 9th September is especially chosen as the “China Brand Day”.

“China Brand Day” is a festival of China national self-owned brands, a specific reflection of brand strengthening nation strategy, a stage of brand value show, even more a bridge of linking international brands.
